from edges to oneness?

How does one become better at their work in their chosen field?
For this we need to first understand what is growth. Growth is simply put, going beyond our current limits - in our capacity to perceive (/understand) or ability to perform (/achieve)

Picture yourself in the center with three expanding realms around (refer graphic)
Our personal domain (inner circle): Everything we currently know or can do in a field. The size of this first circle is different for every individual basis their own starting point.
Human frontiers (middle ring): All that's yet been discovered or mastered. The complete new understanding of physics that Einstein made possible or the peak of human speed that Usain Bolt defined. These limits have been pushed and defined by the sheer depth of work done by some individuals.
Infinite unknown (outer expanse): the space of what we don't know as possible yet. Boundless possibilities awaiting revelation.
Pushing the Edges:
The first step is growing our personal domain toward human frontiers - understanding everything that is yet known. This yields that initial spurt of growth through dedicated effort.
Then comes the tough part - one that requires elements beyond training, skill or technique - to move the needle. We operate at this border of what is yet known, constantly pushing to expand beyond it into everything that's yet to be known, the space of infinite possibilities. We hope to make a dent, in small or grand ways - and that becomes our life’s work.
This is the space where ‘great’ work happens, going beyond fields from science to sport. The process feels like magic, it's transcendent. In such moments you gaze at the work and wonder: Is this truly mine?
And then every once in a long while, there would be rare visionaries like Einstein (for physics) who don't just nudge the frontier of what's yet known; they leap it forward, moving us further out into what there is to know.
The Radical Shift: from Edge to Center:
But can we ever know everything there is to know? Can we make this realm, not just slightly bigger by pushing it, but infinitely larger? How does that leap happen? Does it happen by working at the circumference? What if the leap isn't outward, but inward?
Our center aligns perfectly with that vast outer expanse. By resonating there - releasing the illusion of separation - could we glimpse into boundless knowing. Unlike a conquest, this could be dissolution into oneness - the eternal center where all circles converge.
Is this the true path to infinity?
