We always begin with nothingness.
But where does one go from nothingness... its a choice...
Conquering rejects what is
Surrendering begins with accepting everything
The first step on the journey of Conquering is to reject the status quo. There is a desire for something greater, better, more than ‘what is’.
Surrendering begins by acknowledging 'what is' - the good & bad, dark & light - seeing them as different as different sides of the same coin
Conquering, is recognizing difference
Surrendering, is celebrating oneness
Conquering is acknowledging the separateness of things from us and endeavoring to acquire them, consume them, make them one with ourselves.
Surrendering begins with rejecting this difference, then acquiring feels meaningless... you are already part of everything
Conquering, is overcoming resistance
Surrendering, is creating gravity
One needs to exert to overcome and conquer something, it requires the valiance of effort.
When you surrender, you create a vacuum, attracting everything with a great force
Conquer, and one is left with great things to look back upon
Surrender, and you open the infinite to look forward to
Every time we conquer, we come back to a nothingness. The purpose of conquering something is completed and that journey ends. Yes there is a new frontier to reach, another new journey to begin, but the current one has gone back to null.
Surrendering feels different, like one is open to all that is on offer... it is a series of never ending gifts
so where does one go from nothingness...
